Principal UX designer in Melbourne. I design websites, apps, and AI products, and I get organisations to actually use them. Two different problems, and I've spent the last two years doing both at once.
a bit about me…
Alabama raised me. Melbourne has kept me for the past ten years. I say y'all, and I have more opinions on bbq (the low-and-slow smoked kind, not the sausage-sizzle kind) than a church cookbook has casseroles. I've built a career on making complicated things simple enough to trust.
The design part started at Auburn as an industrial designer, working for the likes of Johnson & Johnson and DeWalt. Then New York in 2011, when the iPad had just landed and nobody knew yet what a tablet interface should be. I got to find out for brands like Tiffany’s and ESPN.
Since then: start-up years in the Colorado mountains, a Melbourne fintech, and a run of banking, government and science-agency work where the stakes are real. The full path is below, one line at a time.
